News Flash: Mayfair Games Releases Gold Ahoy!, Two New Games in the Timeline Series

- Mayfair Games has released Gold Ahoy!, a pirate-themed tile-laying game for two players.
- Asmodee has announced two new games in the Timeline series, Timeline Americana and Timeline American History, the latter of which has already won the Learning Play category in the ASTRA’s Best Toys for Kids awards.
- Brain Punch Games is releasing This House is Haunted through Kickstarter this month. It’s a cooperative card game in which players try to drive out the ghosts in their house, but can become possessed themselves and secretly turn on the other players.
- New reviews this week of Ca$h ‘n Guns (Meeple Town), Munchkin Panic (Blog Critics), and Eight Minute Empire (Go Play Listen).
- The digital adaption of Mr. Jack Pocket has been updated to include two new characters.
- Troll in the Corner has posted the article, On the Healing Power of Games, a very moving story of a little girl, a surgery, and the board games that helped her afterwards.
- Out of the Box Publishing has released a new version of Snake Oil. This one is called Snake Oil Party Potion. It's a more compact version of the game, and is suitable for a younger audience than the original Snake Oil.
- If you enjoy the Looney Labs card game Fluxx, you might be interested in listening to the new Fluxx Card Game Theme Song, which the company got nerd-comedy-music duo The Doubleclicks to write and perform.
- Across the Board Games has posted their list of the top five zombie games.
