Game Review Information

If you are a publisher and you have a casual game you would like reviewed, you have come to the right place! We are constantly evaluating games for review in Casual Game Insider magazine and on our blog, as well as inclusion in our Recommended Games list. Our reviews have the potential to be seen by thousands of casual gamers and retailers, and can help supplement your marketing strategy. The process for game reviews differs for published games and unpublished prototypes.

Published Games

  • Games that are already published and available for sale qualify for a free evaluation
  • Games that pass the evaluation are considered for our Recommended Games list and review in either Casual Game Insider or on our blog
  • We cannot guarantee if or when a review will be published — we have a large backlog, and reviews are based upon our sole discretion
  • Published games are evaluated against the criteria contained on our submission form, which are subject to change
  • Please send 2 sample copies, if possible — the extra copies we receive are often used for giveaways or other promotions

Crowdfunding Previews

  • Previews of unpublished prototypes (usually for crowdfunding campaigns) have a price of $300 per game (see our media kit)
  • The price includes a FREE banner ad and sidebar ad during your campaign ($125 value), sharing with our 12,000+ social media followers, and the use of our "Featured on Casual Game Revolution" logo
  • We will publish a written review of your game on our blog according to your desired schedule (usually when your campaign begins)
  • We must receive the game at least two weeks before your campaign begins
  • As always, we will be honest and forthright in our evaluation — we cannot guarantee a positive review
  • Unpublished prototypes or print-on-demand games are ineligible for review in Casual Game Insider and our Recommended Games list

Please contact us to confirm eligibility and obtain the mailing address of the reviewer assigned to your games. All games sent for evaluation become the property of Casual Game Revolution and will not be returned.
