News Flash: Fantasy Flight's Holiday Sale, Fireside Games' Castle Panic Expansion

- Fantasy Flight Games is having a holiday sale which is running from November 19th to December 1st.
- Fireside Games has announced a new expansion for Castle Panic called The Dark Titan. The game will include a brand new boss monster with eight hit points. The expansion is expected out sometime in the Spring of 2015.
- Three months ago the news was released that Days of Wonder was merging into Asmodee. This week it was announced that Asmodee will be acquiring another well-known gaming company, Fantasy Flight Games.
- New reviews this week of Oddball Aeronauts 2 (Theology of Games), Coup (The Nerd’s Table), and Scoville (The Dice Tower).
- With the approach of the holiday season, Mashable.com has published a list of seven games to bring to a family holiday party. Fireside Games has also published a list with their suggestions for great board games to play on Thanksgiving.
- With Christmas a little over a month away, we are starting to see board game gift guides. We, of course, have one of our own, but also be sure to check out the list by iSlaytheDragon.

- My Life Games has announced personalized editions of both Monopoly and Scrabble.
- Gamewright made TV twice this week with two different games. Qwixx was featured on the Today Show on a list of the best educational toys of 2014. While the classic card game Rat-a-Tat Cat actually had a brief cameo on The Good Wife.
