- IELLO and Purple Brain Creations released The Grasshopper and the Ant this month, a 30 minute game that is the fourth entry in their Tales & Games series.
- Fireside Games has announced two new releases for later this year. Bears!: Trail Mix’d, an expansion to their dice rolling game, and The Village Crone a brand new game about witches in the village of Wickersby.
- People Magazine has published an article about Monopoly turning 80, complete with pictures of the game through the years.
- New reviews this week of Tsuro (The Geek Parent), Forbidden Island (The Malted Meeple), and Just Desserts (Troll in the Corner).
- IGN has posted a list of five fun Star Wars-themed board games.
- Upper Deck Entertainment has announced that it will publish Bring Out Yer Dead, a game about burials and lazy gravediggers.
